Canine Massage
Clinical Canine Massage Therapy combines Swedish, Deep tissue and Sports massage with Myofascial Release and set of unique protocols; The Lenton Method ®
It is a bespoke practice delivered by the therapist to target areas where it is needed. Generally the whole body will be addressed. When there is pain, weakness or injury in one part of the muscular skeletal system other parts will be affected to. For example a dog with an injury to a forelimb is likely to use it less therefore the work usually done by the muscles of that limb is done by other muscles on other limbs. This is called compensation. These muscles can become over worked, and develop trigger points and experience reduced function.
